The Annapurna Circuit has some of the most comfortable trekking lodges in Nepal, especially in Manang. As you approach the Thorong La, lodges become simpler and colder.
Quick answer: Chame and Manang have the best lodges, with bakeries, hot showers and Wi-Fi. Yak Kharka and Thorong Phedi are simpler; High Camp (about 4,880 m) is basic and cold. Over the pass, Muktinath has good hotels again.
Village by village
- Tal (about 1,700 m) and Chame (about 2,670 m): comfortable lodges; Chame has hot springs.
- Upper and Lower Pisang (about 3,200–3,300 m): good lodges; Upper Pisang has the views.
- Manang (about 3,540 m) and Braga: the best lodges on the circuit; acclimatisation days here.
- Yak Kharka (about 4,000 m) and Ledar: simple lodges.
- Thorong Phedi (about 4,450 m) and High Camp: basic; very cold at night.
- Muktinath (about 3,800 m): comfortable hotels after the pass.
