Ice Lake (Kicho Tal) lies at about 4,600 m, more than 1,000 m above Braga. The steep climb is one of the best acclimatisation hikes on the Annapurna Circuit, with views of Annapurna II, III and IV and Gangapurna.

Quick answer: Allow 6–8 hours return from Braga or Manang. Start early, carry water and warm layers, and turn back if you feel unwell. The lake is often frozen in late autumn and winter.
