Above Namche Bazaar, the ridge of Syangboche leads to Hotel Everest View, opened in 1971 at about 3,880 m. From its terrace you can see Everest, Lhotse and Ama Dablam over a cup of tea.
Quick answer: The walk up from Namche takes about 1.5–2 hours and is the classic acclimatisation hike. Continue to Khumjung and the Hillary School before returning.
