Lho is a village at about 3,180 m in the upper Budhi Gandaki on the Manaslu Circuit. Above it stands Ribung Gompa, and from the monastery the view of Manaslu (8,163 m) at sunrise is unforgettable.
Quick answer: Lho is usually reached the day before Samagaun. The Manaslu area is restricted: you need a restricted area permit and a licensed guide (solo trekkers can get the permit since 22 March 2026).
