Kyanjin Ri rises to about 4,773 m directly above Kyanjin Gompa. The climb is short but steep, and the summit, draped in prayer flags, looks across to Langtang Lirung, its glacier and the peaks along the Tibetan border.
Quick answer: Allow 3–4 hours return. It is the ideal acclimatisation hike before the longer climb to Tserko Ri.
