Tserko Ri (also spelled Tsergo Ri), at about 4,985 m, is the highest point most trekkers reach in the Langtang Valley. From Kyanjin Gompa a long climb leads to a summit hung with prayer flags and a panorama of Langtang Lirung, glaciers and peaks along the Tibetan border.
Quick answer: Allow a full day (8–9 hours return) from Kyanjin, starting before dawn. Acclimatise first with a shorter hike to Kyanjin Ri.
