The Kaiser Library occupies part of the Kaiser Mahal palace, next to the Garden of Dreams. It holds the private collection of Field Marshal Kaiser Shumsher Rana, who also created the garden: old books, manuscripts, maps, portraits and hunting trophies in grand Rana-era rooms.
