Kahun Danda is a forested hill on the north-eastern edge of Pokhara, with a view tower and the remains of an old hill fort. It is far quieter than Sarangkot, with views over the city and of Machhapuchhre and the Annapurnas.

Quick answer: Hike up in 2–3 hours from the city, or drive part of the way. Go at sunrise in clear weather (October–April).
