The milky Seti Gandaki river runs right through Pokhara, but you could walk across the city without noticing it: in places it flows tens of metres below ground level in a gorge only a few metres wide, carved through soft deposits left by ancient floods.

Quick answer: See the gorge from KI Singh Bridge near Bagar, from Mahendrapul in the old bazaar, or at Seti Gandaki viewpoint parks. Combine with the caves and the Mountain Museum.
