Indra Sarobar is the reservoir of the Kulekhani hydropower project in Makwanpur, a long lake winding between forested hills south-west of Kathmandu. It has become a popular weekend escape for boating, fishing and lakeside camps.

Quick answer: Kulekhani is about 3–4 hours by road from Kathmandu via Pharping or Thankot and Chitlang. Combine with Chitlang and Daman.
