Ganja La, at about 5,130 m, links Kyanjin Gompa in the Langtang Valley with Helambu to the south. The crossing is steep, often snowy, and has no lodges for several days, so it is done as a camping trek.
Quick answer: Go only with an experienced team, good acclimatisation and proper equipment. Snow can make the pass impassable outside autumn.
