The Bindhyabasini temple stands on a small hill in old Pokhara bazaar, north of Lakeside. Dedicated to the goddess Bhagwati (Durga), it is one of the city's most important shrines, busy with worshippers, weddings and festival crowds. On clear mornings Machhapuchhre rises behind it.

Quick answer: Visit early in the morning. Combine with a walk through the old bazaar and the Seti gorge.
