Sandakpur (known in India as Sandakphu) is the highest point of the Singalila ridge at about 3,636 m, on the border between Ilam in Nepal and West Bengal in India. On clear mornings it offers a famous view of four of the world's five highest peaks: Everest, Kangchenjunga, Lhotse and Makalu.

Quick answer: Reach Sandakpur from Ilam by jeep and short trek via Maimajuwa. Go in October–December or March–April for clear skies and rhododendrons.
