Rupa Lake (Rupa Tal) lies in the east of the Pokhara Valley, separated from Begnas Lake by a forested ridge. Much quieter than Phewa, it is managed by a community cooperative that raises fish and protects the lake.

Quick answer: Rupa is about 45 minutes by road from Lakeside Pokhara. Combine it with Begnas: walk the ridge between the two lakes and take a rowing boat.
