Khambachen is a small settlement of stone huts and lodges at about 4,050 m above Ghunsa on the trek to Kanchenjunga North Base Camp. It faces the huge north face of Jannu (Kumbhakarna).
Quick answer: Spend an extra day here to acclimatise before Lhonak and Pangpema. Kanchenjunga is a restricted area; trek with a licensed guide.
