Jagdishpur Reservoir, in Kapilvastu district west of Lumbini, is a large irrigation reservoir that has become an important Ramsar-listed wetland. In winter it fills with ducks and waders, and the area is known for the tall sarus crane.

Quick answer: Combine Jagdishpur with Tilaurakot and Lumbini. Go early in the morning between November and March.
