Birdwatching and wildlife tours
Nepal is a surprising wildlife destination. In the lowland jungles of Chitwan and Bardia you can track the greater one-horned rhinoceros, wild elephants and, with luck, the Bengal tiger. For birders, Nepal has recorded more than 880 bird species, from hornbills in the jungle to the waterbirds of the Koshi Tappu wetlands and Himalayan pheasants in the hills.
Our wildlife tours use experienced naturalists and licensed guides for jungle walks, jeep safaris and canoe trips. See our Chitwan safari guide.
