Mera Peak, at 6,476 m, is the highest of Nepal's trekking peaks. It is approached through the remote Hinku valley to Khare (about 5,045 m), the last lodge stop. From the summit, five 8,000 m peaks are visible: Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu and Kangchenjunga.
Quick answer: The climb is non-technical but high, on glaciers with crampons and ropes. See the Mera Peak climbing guide.
