Ghora Tabela ("horse stable") is a grassy clearing at about 3,000 m in the Langtang Valley, between Lama Hotel and Langtang village. Here the forest opens out and the first big views of Langtang Lirung appear.
Quick answer: Most trekkers stop for tea or lunch. There is a national park and army post where permits may be checked.
