Ghandruk is a slate-roofed Gurung village on a sunny hillside at about 1,940 m, facing Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Machhapuchhre. It is one of the most beautiful villages in the Annapurna region and an easy trip from Pokhara.

Quick answer: Ghandruk is about 2–3 hours by jeep from Pokhara, or a short walk from Kimche. Visit the Gurung Museum, stay in a homestay and enjoy sunrise on the mountains. You need an ACAP permit. Best time: October–April.
