Dhakmar (Drakmar) lies at about 3,820 m beneath towering red cliffs riddled with caves. Legend says Guru Rinpoche killed a demon here, and its blood stained the cliffs red; its body formed the long mani wall at Ghami.
Quick answer: Dhakmar is usually visited on the return leg of the Upper Mustang trek, with Ghar Gompa. The cliffs glow in late-afternoon light.
