Bishazari Tal, meaning "twenty thousand lakes", is a network of lakes and marshes in the buffer zone of Chitwan National Park, south of Bharatpur. It is a Ramsar-listed wetland and a haven for water birds and mugger crocodiles.

Quick answer: Visit on a guided jungle walk or bird walk from Sauraha. Winter brings migratory ducks. Always go with a licensed guide: rhinos and sloth bears also use the area.
