Figures released at the end of 2024 showed Nepal welcomed about 1.15 million foreign tourists in the year, according to the Nepal Tourism Board, up more than 14% on 2023 and the most since the pandemic.
In short: Arrivals were close to the 2019 record of 1.19 million. India remained the largest market, followed by China, the USA and the UK.
