Nagarkot Sunrise Overnight Tour
The Nagarkot sunrise overnight tour is the easiest way to see the Himalaya from the Kathmandu Valley. Spend the afternoon in Bhaktapur, drive up to Nagarkot (about 2,175 m) for sunset, sleep in a hotel with a mountain view, and wake for sunrise over a long stretch of the Himalaya. On the way back, walk to Changunarayan, the oldest temple in the valley, or drive straight back to Kathmandu.
