Bungee jumping in Nepal

Nepal's most famous bungee jump is at The Last Resort on the Bhote Koshi, about 3 hours' drive north-east of Kathmandu towards the Tibetan border. You jump 160 m from a steel suspension bridge into a deep, forested gorge with the river roaring below. The site also offers a canyon swing, rafting and canyoning, so it is easy to make a weekend of it.

Near Pokhara, a bungee at Hemja offers a jump of about 70 m with the option to touch the water below. Both are run by experienced operators with strict safety checks.
